Aphrodite's Shell

Our Aphrodite's Shell colorway is inspired by Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love and beauty. She is famously said to have risen from the sea foam, emerging on a shell. The image of her standing gracefully on a shell symbolizes her divine birth and timeless allure.

This yarn is dyed to order and available in the below bases:

• Lace: Fiber content: 65% Baby Suri Alpaca; 35% Silk, Yardage: 437yds per 50g
• Fingering: Fiber content: 100% Superwash Merino Wool. Yardage: 437yds per 100g
• Sport: Fiber content: 100% Superwash Merino Wool
• Yardage: 328yds per 100g
• DK:  Fiber content: 100% Superwash Merino Wool, Yardage: 231yds per 100g
• Worsted: 100% Non Superwash Merino 4ply yarn, 218 yds/100g

Please note: Our Suri/Silk blend does not absorb dye the same way as our superwash merino yarns, so colors will appear slightly muted. While we use formulas for our colorways, it is critical to purchase all of the yarn needed for your project to ensure color uniformity. Even with all yarns being within the same dye lot/order, you may still want to jog skeins when knitting or crocheting.

Lead time: each skein is hand dyed to order. Our current processing times are 1-3 weeks for dyeing , drying, and shipping. Please contact us if you need to rush your order, as extra fees may apply.
